DW Wildlife Tours is based in Greater Manchester and most of the tours, courses and workshop take place with in the county. The tours are designed to give participants an experience they will not forget, taking you to key locations to look for species or to take photographs. Numbers are restricted on these tours to around twelve with others being only six, this is so that events are more personal where participants have lots of time to ask questions and get expert advice. DW Wildlife Tours has a passion about wildlife and to share knowledge with those that come along.
A BIT ABOUT THE TOUR GUIDE - David Winnard
David has been a keen naturalist since he can remember and has a fascination for all things in nature, from the magical world of mushrooms to birds, butterflies and plants. Having lived in Rochdale all his life he has learnt the sites around Greater Manchester and knows the best places to go to show people some of the most amazing wildlife the county has to offer. In 2009 he graduated with a 1st Class Honors degree in Wildlife Photography from the Blackpool & Fylde College. David has had images published in many magazines including BBC Wildlife, Birdwatching, Birdwatch and Outdoor Photography. His work is represented by agencies such as Oxford Scientific Films (OSF) and Garden Picture Library.
